ANKLE SPRAIN

Ankle sprains are among the most common injuries. When an ankle is twisted, the ligaments are overstretched. In the worst case, they might tear. Small blood vessels tear too, which is what causes the swelling around the ankle.

Mild sprain (grade I): This is the most common and least severe form. The ligaments are stretched but not torn.
Moderate sprain (grade II): This injury is more severe and more painful, and one or more ligaments are partially torn.
Severe sprain (grade III): One or more ligaments are torn and the ankle is unstable. It's hardly possible to move the foot at all.

Sign and symptoms of ankle sprain

  • Pain and tenderness around the ankle

  • Swelling and bruising over ankle

  • Inability to walk or stand on the joint

  • Ankle stiffness

FLAT FEET

Flat feet is a condition that occurs when the foot arch collapses and comes into complete or near-complete contact with the ground. Due to the ability of shock absorption by the foot arch is reduce, extra stress was put into heel, ankle, knee and lower back.

Sign and symptoms in flat feet

  • Collapse foot arch

  • Excessive pronation of heel

  • Midfoot pain

  • May associate with hip, knee, lower back pain

Osteoarthritis is a condition that causes joints to become painful and stiff. The severity of osteoarthritis symptoms can vary greatly from person to person. For some people, the symptoms can be mild and may come and go. Other people can experience more continuous and severe problems.

Sign and Symptoms of OA knee

  • Knee pain worse after activity like walking up stair

  • Swelling

  • Knee stiffness in bending and straightening

  • Clicking sound over knee joint

  • Knee buckling or locking up

Plantar fasciitis is a common case of heel pain. It can be caused by inadequate or inappropriate footwear, weight gain, or sport activity like running. People with flat feet or weak foot arch control muscles are also common to suffer from this problem.

Sign and symptoms of plantar fasciitis

  • Heel pain +/- swelling

  • Very bad pain at first step after waking and not moving for a period of time

  • Pain may decrease as continue to walk
